- Noté 1 sur 5par adamhybel, il y a 10 heuresFireShot is incredibly effective for capturing webpages, and its core functionality is genuinely useful and much appreciated.
However, I'm giving it 1 star due to a critical issue: it is closed-source. This lack of transparency is a major concern. We, the users, cannot verify the code we are running in our browsers. This presents potential security and privacy risks, as there's no way to audit the extension for hidden tracking or malicious behaviour. Trust requires transparency.
I genuinely love what this extension does, and I would instantly change my rating to 5 stars if the developers embraced free and open-source principles.
I strongly urge other users to request this change as well. Open source is vital for user security and trust in browser extensions. Developers, please consider making FireShot open-source. The concept is fantastic, but its closed nature prevents a wholehearted recommendation. - Noté 1 sur 5par u12, il y a un moisThey don't even allow cropping in the editor in the free version. That's like if the free version of Microsoft Word didn't allow you to type words. They know this is shameful, so they don't even mention it on their "pro vs free comparison" page: https ://getfireshot .com/upgraded .php

- Noté 1 sur 5par Tobias, il y a 2 moisWhen my PC crashed, I had to reinstall Windows and my key was lost.
When I wrote to support, I received a 30 day code!
Even after several emails, there was no response.

Lie!
They replace all the links in the pdf with their website, so anyone who gets my screenshot and clicks on its links will be logged. How Mozilla allows something like this on their side is a mystery to me. - Noté 1 sur 5par FSantos, il y a 9 moisFirst versions have full page screenshot, now the full web page screenshots extensions dont have full page, only visible page.

- Noté 1 sur 5par perlancar, il y a un anPros: can scroll Protected PDF on the Google Drive when the builtin screenshot tool or other addon can't.
Cons: The hard sell to the Pro version is too off-putting. Especially this bullshit dishonest statement: "Only a small part of this page can be saved *due to browser limitations*. You can use FireShot Pro to save the entire page to PDF". So it's my browser's fault that the whole page cannot be saved, but if I upgrade to Pro, even using the same browser, the page will be able to be saved? Are we supposed to be dumb to accept that statement?
Uninstalled at the end. I will search for other addons that can do Protected PDF scrolling. - Noté 1 sur 5par Zachary, il y a un anEvery time I go to take a screenshot the extension opens a new tab trying to sell me the pro version. If I see it one more time I'm going to throw my laptop in the river and move to the wilderness.

- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18218893 de Firefox, il y a un anWarning: Clickjacking scam / stealing private data via counterfeit links. In the generated PDF all links are replaced with links going to `getfireshot.com` with base64 encoded original links. If you click the link, you are redirected to the original link, so you won't notice. However `getfireshot.com` will get all your private tokens that were present in original links - e.g. tokens in links to private google drive documents, etc. Addon reported and deleting it.
- Noté 1 sur 5par Luckspeare, il y a un anFrequent updates force a pop-up on you when you try to use the extension -- it shifts focus to a new web page it opened. It's really annoying and disruptive. If I want pop-ups, I'll download free Mobile apps. I've brought it up to the dev's attention, but he just insists it's reasonable. Not to me, it isn't. Frequent pop-up nag screens are a price of using this software. Disrespectful practice. Uninstalled.
- Noté 1 sur 5par okok, il y a un anits useless. the built-in print of browsers are even better than this. It ask payment or Pro to print. It also doesn't screen capture the whole page as page by page, only the screen.
