This Add-on displays if you have any new mail, and if you click it then it opens your gmail in a new or existing tab. Just what i was looking for, thanks!

Exactly what I was looking for

Just check out the number of unread e-mails, you click the buttom and go to the web. Simple that way. I love it! For real! :)

It does exactly what it needs to: Just checks mail. Clicking the button will take you to gmail (or inbox). The only issue I find with this is that it doesn't reuse existing gmail tabs.

It' simple and that's all I need. I want to know how many emails are unread, and I want to click it once and open Gmail.

I really like this add on, perfect for what I need. My only complaint that there is no option to remove the notifications (set the counter to zero new mail) when I click on the add on to check my mail. It is really annoying that I have to click on check mail again or wait a couple of minutes for the new mail notifications to disappear after I read my e-mails. Otherwise it works great.

Please add the option for a 2nd account displayed on the tool bar. I used to use gmail manager but that's no longer supported what you've created is almost exactly what i want I just need the option to monitor my personal and business email
