What is a logic of this addon?

Superb addon. Exactly what I was looking for. No fiddly settings and complicated features I need to adjust every time I reinstall browser. Just the most basic addon which checks for new GMail e-mails and that's it. Thank you!

Works even on FF 56. Does 1 thing - checks your email count.

Does just what I want and nothing more - show me when there is unread GMail and take me to the web site when I click on it.

One suggestion for a future update. Right now, clicking it opens GMail in a new window/tab. It would be nice if you could have the option to open it in the current tab. Maybe via a different gesture (e.g. wheel-click) with a configuration to choose which gesture opens GMail in a new tab and which uses the current tab.

Simple and clean. A easy-to-read number tells you how many unread messages you have, and hovering over the button gives you the subject line of your most recent email. Click it to open your inbox.

That's it - and it's all I want and need. Thank you!

Exactly what i was looking for. A simple gmail add-on that just tells me if i have new mail nothing fancy. Works great thanks!

Firefox 57 compatible, very simple and straight forward, without any bloat.

Good addon, exactly what I have been waiting from a gmail checker :
- simple (no panel or any other bloat)
- open directly gmail in your inbox (and do not open your first unread message when you have one)

I'm happy with it ! :-)

What would be nice is to be able to set interval check and to choose if you want to open gmail (= https://mail.google.com/) or google inbox (= https://inbox.google.com/).
