Worked more than fine for a few weeks, now it keeps displaying a message saying: "Enter the username for this account to finish saving your password and allow safari to autofill."

Even though that password had already been saved and this issue was not happening.

Not a great implementation, basic features work on macOS but this extension needs improving.

- Prevents enter key on login forms
- Needs ability to exclude site/domain from autofill/prompting update

Works well enough and I haven't noticed performance issues related to it. A few annoyances:
- prevents hitting Enter to submit a login form
- requires being authorized via push notification after every Firefox reinstall (I'm on the beta channel so this happens often)
- no option to just fill in passwords without needing TouchID for every one

Really, this thing shouldn't even be necessary though. Apple provides the APIs for Firefox to directly access iCloud Keychain. Firefox should be using them.

it's extremely buggy and probably deliberately so. Apple does not want you to switch from Safari to Firefox

why add it to the store if it isn't even available? i don't see the point.

"The passwords extension is not currently available on Firefox for Windows. It is available in Chrome and Edge." So yeah, thanks. How about not adding this in Firefox add-ons store then?

Why can I even download this extension if it doesn't work on Firefox. After downloading this extension, you'd expect it to work... right. Why would apple put this on the Firefox add-ons page if it didn't work. Sorry to spoil your disbelief, but once downloaded. The extension just says the Passwords doesn't work on Firefox, but does on chromium. I think Apple smoked something while making this.

It overlays icloud password input prompts to fields that are not password or user-id fields, obscuring dialog boxes. Barely usable.

It works, but it's annoying having to re-authenticate every time I open Firefox. It should at least be an option, or it should support TouchID.

On some pages it causes browser freeze, especially when a form is present.

I tried to auto fill a 2FA and it wanted to "recommend a password" for my 2FA. Doesn't make sense. Deleted.

It works, however it has some annoyances.

1. Subdomains always show top-level domain password. For example: I have a saved password for a.example.com and an currently filling a form on b.example.com. I will get the option to fill in the password from a. This does not happen on Safari.

2. Have to enter 2FA code on every startup.

It's good, but lacks contrast in the menu and functionality to add a hide email.

If I want to fill in a password the design of the password doesn't help me to distinguish which menu entry is selected. And I often accidentally open the Passwords app instead of selecting the password to be filled in.

Another great feature would be to automatically generate an email and password using the hide email function from iCloud.
