Absolute dogshit on macos.

This extension does not work. Using in macOS Tahoe with latest version of Firefox, and I'm prompted to install the extension every time I try to use it. When I can get past being asked to install a plugin I already installed and paired (despite it being nowhere near straightforward to enter the required passcode) I'm able to pull up stored passwords, but I just get prompted to install the plugin again if I need to create a new password or add a site.

This extension does not work with Firefox, unfortunately. I have the most recent macOS (Tahoe 26.1) and the most recent Firefox but... doesn't work. The security code to verify it never appears. It's disappointing since the Passwords app works so well in Safari. It's a super smooth process there.

Doesn't seem to work with Firefox 145.0.1 macOS Sonoma 14.8.3 (23J216). Tried to do passkey login with Apple Music and it didn't trigger this extension in any way that I can tell. Apple Music did ask for my fingerprint auth before failing.

What a shitty plugin. It slows my browser and Firefox is asking to stop it. Apple demands high standard from App developers but its own software is often buggy and not user friendly.

Basically tt doesn't work, and haven't for more than a year. Keep getting stuck at "Enable Passwords in iCloud for Windows" no matter what I've done. Jumped through all the hoops I could. Use KeePass.

It tries to steer you back to Safari / Passwords app to create new passwords, then makes it a huge pain. Blatantly unnecessary. Newsflash, I ditched Safari because you killed the useful parts of Adblock! I don't want to use your bad browser for a reason!

worked fine, but the latest update has made it so that EVERY SINGLE TEXT BOX is picked up as a password input. this is so unbearable to deal with that I have uninstalled the extension; not to mention the severe security issue caused by this.

Something about this extension's most recent updates makes Firefox no longer prefill passwords from its own database. That means that while it does fill in, less conveniently because there's an extra authentication step, a few passwords that I only ever had on my iPhone, I've lost access to passwords prefilling correctly on more than 500 websites.

It's rare the software that has the net effect of doing the exact opposite of what it's supposed to do, to the tune of dozens and dozens of times in the wrong direction than any movement in the correct one, but mathematically here we are. Uninstall from me.

I so wanted this native Apple extension to work, but alas it only works if you enter in a code every time you want to use it. Frustrating.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! Often makes you enter another code, and it slows down Firefox, whether or not it is active or needs code, didn't know this was causing it until Firefox said this extension was slowing down Firefox. BTW others say doesn't work on MacOS, but I am on Windows. Just don't download at all, Windows, MacOS, whatever, Apple always has been terrible when it comes to any services on devices/software they didn't make...

Completely broken out of the box for me (i.e. the extension shows a blank panel)

This extension is completely useless on a Mac. It constantly asks for a 6-digit verification code, but even after entering it, passwords and 2FA codes never appear. The reason is simple: Apple never built the “helper app” on macOS that this extension needs in order to talk to iCloud Keychain. On Windows, it works (because iCloud for Windows provides that bridge), but on macOS it’s a dead end.

Version 3.1.30 doesn't work. Stick with 3.1.27.

Doesn't work! Makes me put in a code to activate the extension every single time, and after that it doesn't even show me my passwords.

Does not work. It does not allow you to log in using apple passwords. I can't seem to find anything it actually does do. Shocking that something like this would even be allowed to be downloaded.
