- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18900251 de Firefox, il y a 7 joursThe Dev tried to push a little e-beg window into his app which caused a lot of negative reviews. The Dev lost their mind and started replying and arguing with EVERYONE in the comments who was upset with the change and left a comment about his extension.
The Dev messed up big time in how he implemented this ad and how he is responding to the negative feedback. I removed the extension because the Dev appears to be really unstable and not untrustworthy. He even responded to this comment below blaming everyone else but himself. If he has this much of an ego I would be afraid of what he might do and don't want him to have access to anything on my machine.Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 6 joursI was arguing with people who can't read - like geniuses who decided that the extension is paid now. (i.e. missed the point that all the features that existed before - are still free, and only the new, advanced features are paid, and used to cover the cost of running a free service for 20 million users. - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18909402 de Firefox, il y a 13 jours

- Noté 1 sur 5par Cameron Owens, il y a 15 joursI know everyone's gotta eat and nothing is truly free, but the way the large advertisement is implemented is obnoxious at best. I'll be uninstalling for the time being.

mis en ligne : il y a 14 joursGoing to be less obnoxious on Firefox, thanks to chrome for beta testing. - Noté 1 sur 5par kuroten, il y a 17 jours
- Noté 1 sur 5par Nicky McCurdy, il y a 17 joursThis extension is trying to monetize showing one bit of useful information on the page with intrusive ads and a premium tier.

mis en ligne : il y a 18 joursMonetization is needed, among other things, to pay for operating the extension.
Only advanced new features are paid - what you had for free is still free, and will always be free
All other extensions\apps with dislikes are using my API - with the api dying due to lack of funds - all other apps will die as well.
Unfortunately the extension requires quite a large database (~15TB) serivng 20 million unique daily users (chrome is not the only platform) - and it costs money.
The idea behind paid features was also to cover the costs (since donations became smaller than the hosting costs). Without bothering free users too much. - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 6120711 de Firefox, il y a 19 joursasking for premium for such a simple addon

- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17670395 de Firefox, il y a 21 joursI no longer trust the developer after an intrusive advertisement was added. I am going to find another way to view dislikes or none at all.

mis en ligne : il y a 21 joursYeah, sorry about that. The changelog tab was supposed to be shown on browser restart - i.e be much less intrusive. - Noté 1 sur 5par Simon, il y a 21 joursDodgy shenanigans are going on with this extension for Chrome, with pop under adverts for some "premium" scam. Lost all trust in it and the developer, so removing from all browsers on all devices.

mis en ligne : il y a 21 joursChrome users just beta tested it for Firefox. Hopefully will go smoother here. - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 19415682 de Firefox, il y a 3 moisThere hasn't been a public API for pulling official numbers for years now. These apps just invent fake numbers based on extrapolations from the tiny minority of people that install the apps, which self-selects for a sad, dislike-obsessed population of people, skewing the numbers more negative than they actually are.
- Noté 1 sur 5par GakiGaku, il y a 3 moisSuddenly stopped working for no reason. Toggling the extension/reinstalling does nothing.
- Noté 1 sur 5par SDM, il y a 4 moisDoesn't work, constantly glitches and breaks YT. Often shows you removing a dislike when disliking a video. Just flat out doesn't work.

What I've deducted that they're actually just a depiction of what the extension thinks it should be based on even your own vote. Bottom line is the downvotes aren't actually real this extension merely produces a count to fit a narrative based on your own vote. Silly of me to think that a third party app would change something like that on youtube's websites. I do feel pretty had tbh.
I actually think it does work. You have to do some password logging in (to check to see if youtube's just honoring your vote while logged in) and out due to youtube's way of displaying the downvotes, but with this app you can see them regardless if you're logged into yt or not which I later found. So when I logged out, closed browser (cookies deleted) and then opened browser to the same vid - and not logged in....I could see the downvote in-fact had changed. I did this with both downvoting and then clearing the downvote by upvoting and it does seem to register my change in the vote.
