    I use macOS Catalina 10.15.4 and I can't hide horizontal tabs; without this feature the extension is much less useful.

    Please have a look in the add-on description, which second sentence is literally:

    The default horizontal tab browser can't be hidden right now, that's a limitation in Firefox itself:
    https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1332447

    There is nothing that I can do about it.

    FOUND A BUG! Devs please fix this as this is really annoying! When I open new tab and close it, it does not activate THE PREVIOUS tab, but rather next tab below the one closed! Imagine I google something and keep opening and closing results in new tabs. All the time I need to manually switch back to my google results. Very frustrating.

    VTR should not influence the tab switching behaviour of Firefox at all. Please make sure to test if this behaviour comes actually from your Firefox. If not, please fill a bug on GitHub.

    Toolbar (new tab and settings) doesn't function, making this sidebar a non-replacement for default tab bar for purely GUI control.

    This is known and will be fixed in the next release.

    I like the idea but it doesn't remove the tabstrip at the top of the screen (at least not in FF57) which to me defeats the purpose of having this plugin in the first place...

    Unfortunately, this is right now a limitation in Firefox. No add-on is able to hide the default horizontal tab strip at the moment. As soon as it will be possible VTR will hide it again (as in pre-0.9 version).
