p.s. good job with recent ui update tho, addon became faster and bit more easier to use uxwise.

Been using this for years. Biggest complaint is passkeys integration isn't very intuitive, and there is not an easy way to see which accounts are associated with a passkey. Passkeys is also paywalled. The security reports that come with premium seem to be only available logging into your vault from their website and not from apps or browser extensions. Overall, solid for passwords and premium is a very reasonable price.

Great extension - but the firefox and other version broke with the November 2025 update.

works good, has sometimes problems w detecting username and passwors fields

2025.7.1 and 2025.7.0 have BUG,can't login,told me KDF *******.2025.6.1 is ok.

Marc, ohwnez, Twist3r, Firefox user 14609807, DR, Firefox user 19236894 that issue is going on with all password managers right now which is interesting. Noticed it a while ago.

The last few days when I login with the master P/W Firefox freezes and the cpu utilization goes up. I can only kill it through task manager.
It works fine in Edge and Crome
Please fix it.

The crippling issue rendering the extension totally unusable seems to have been fixed - the extension version that seems to work OK again as I write this is 2025.7.1.
I am changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars - but not 5 stars, as the previous issue is cause for concern - maybe it could break again. Also the UI / UX has become worse in my opinion in recent redisigns - more clicks to do the same thing as before, and often clicks do not do what I expected.

Trying to use the Bitwarden Extension in August 2025, it caused Firefox to freeze for 10+ second for any operation, and the extension didn't even work - trying to fill in a password would just cause a 15+seconds freeze, and after that the password was not even filled. Disabling the Bitwarden extension caused Firefox to become lightning fast again as usual, immediately, so this was really a problem with the Bitwarden extension. This is totally unusable and unacceptable, and very sad as Bitwarden is a great service. The extension worked perfectly the last time I used it a few months ago, so this is a new issue (in the meantime I was using the Windows App, which works fine). I really hope this will get fixed quickly.

Ich komme von einem anderen Schutz-/Tresorprogramm. Inzwischen setze ich Bitwarden seit ca. 4 Jahren ein.
Sehr gut gelungen ist die Synchronisierung zwischen der Android- und der Windowswelt auf verschiedenen Geräten. Gut gelungen sind (meistens - selten klemmt es anfangs bei Updates von Browsern) die Eintragungsmöglichkeiten im Browser von Firefox, Chrome, Edge, duckduckgo, u.ä..
Die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten sind vielfältig, aber es fehlen an allen Ecken und Enden Best-Practise-Beispiele, um zu verstehen, wie die unterschiedlichen Einstellungen effektiv genutzt werden könnten. (Excel hat genau solche für die Formelsammlung - hier würden sie ebenfalls effektiv helfen). So rätselt man gerne mal, was bei bestimmten Formulierungen in Hilfe, Beschriftungen, usw) wohl gemeint sein mag. Ein Beispiel? Auto-Ausfüllen => "Vorschläge anzeigen, wenn Symbol ausgewählt wird" => klar soweit? Symbole auf Handy, Desktop von PC, Menüleisten-Symbole .... ? Selbstgewählte Symbole auch?
Sicherheitstechnisch fühle ich mich gut aufgehoben. Kostet ja auch.

I've put 4 stars because of the recent UI rework which made the suppression of entry in the extension impossible. I can suppress entries on the web or everywhere else, but not in the browser extension.

Très fiable, j'aurai mis 5 étoiles si on pouvait déverrouiller le coffre avec Touch ID, comme c'est le cas avec l'application Bitwarden...

Latest version broke extension again.

Biometric unlock stopped working properly.

So I had chosen Biometric Unlock but extension always ask for master password. I have to now manually select Unlock with Biometric this is not the way it worked before. The next problem is when I tell it to manually unlock with Biometric the Windows Hello Biometric Window is now hidden behind Firefox and I have to go click it on the toolbar. This makes Biometric unlock useless and I have had to resort to PIN unlock.

You cannot automatically log in to accounts.firefox.com/signin. You need to copy the account name and password separately.
It's also unfortunate that many websites prevent Bitwarden from working (by redirecting the account and password input screen).

Bardzo dobry manager haseł, darmowy, synchronizuje pomiędzy urządzeniami i przeglądarkami, w firefoxie jest mały problem, gdy edytuję lub dodaję nowy wpis, a po przejściu z wysuwanego okna Bitwardena do przeglądarki wraca do domyślnego ekranu jednocześnie usuwając wprowadzane dane.

The UI could be a bit better.

Feature for changing language manually will be very useful.
