It's good so far, it would be nice to have the option of changing the shortcut from Alt + M and also the highlighted colours.
Thank you for the extension.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
ien jier lyn pleatstThanks for the thought!
All the shortcuts can be changed, just follow the steps in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-extension-shortcuts-firefox, then click on the shortcut for 'Find in current tab' and type a new one.
To change the colours:
Open the popup with the Mark My Search icon (in the toolbar or in the extensions list)
Click 'Open options'
Find the comma-separated numbers list. These are the hue values for colours. For example, 300 is purple and 360 or 0 is red. Edit these however you like.
Press Enter (or the Save button) to save you changes
I'm sorry it's complicated at the moment. The next version will make it easier :) - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch avid_ff_user, ien jier lynThis is such a cool tool. I don't know why it has so few installs on Firefox.
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Maik, ien jier lynIt works, except for Google Translate. Every time you type something to translate it auto marks everything by the extension. Any solution to this?

ien jier lyn pleatstHi, thanks for the feedback. Luckily this can be worked around:
1. Open the addon's popup (click the Mark My Search icon in the top-right, or if it's not there, find it by clicking the jigsaw button).
2. At the bottom, click Highlight.
3. Under [Sites to Not Detect As Search Engines], type "translate.google.com", then close the popup.
Hope this helps! - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 18085756, 2 jierren lyn
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Laura, 2 jierren lynVery happy with it, does exactly what it says and has easy to understand options to customize your experience.

2 jierren lyn pleatstThank you! I have restarted work on the add-on, and it won't be long before the customisation and stability is even better. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch s_b, 2 jierren lynVery similar to the old SearchWP which was one of my favorite addons but unfortunately was discontinued in 2016. thx

2 jierren lyn pleatstI'm glad you like it! SearchWP was my inspiration for this add-on. More updates are coming to improve existing features and make it more reliable than ever (: - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 15127677, 2 jierren lynI am waiting for this add-on for long-time! Good job and thank you so much!
Sometimes I need to maintain the on-page search-bar (and the same keywords) to search in different tabs. But the on-page search-bar did not automatic show-up when I select another tab. I know Alt-Shift-M can force it to show-up, but the previous keywords would be lost in this situation. Could you make a option to maintain the on-page search-bar (and the previous keywords) in cross-tab searching? (Always turn-on on-page search-bar mode?) Thank you so much!Antwurd ûntwikkeler

Thank you for raising 'global search' to my attention. You can see my plans for it here:

Unfortunately I probably won't add the feature for a few months due to exam pressure. In the meantime, you could try using the 'keyword lists' feature for long searches: open the popup, click "Keyword Lists", type any name, then type in each keyword. On each tab you can press "Highlight in current tab" to highlight those keywords. Removes much of the frustration of search. Big time saver. Tons of keyboard shortcuts to get even faster & fully customizable as well.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
2 jierren lyn pleatstThanks for the review! It means a lot to know it's capable without being too complicated. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Buckley, 3 jierren lynCan you enable the issues tab on the github page? I'll ask my question here for now :)
What does the pin on the far right mean? If i click on it it disappears but nothing further happens (as far as I can tell).
Also tried a lot of them and this one works and is innovative.Antwurd ûntwikkeler

Edit: Discussed on a GitHub issue. I determined current behaviour to be unclear and have now replaced it in v1.12. The new 'refresh' button replaces your keywords with ones from your current search. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch iG0R, 3 jierren lynThe best search-on-the-page highlighter I ever used and through my hands went more than 10.
