After using for a few months, the extension is now saying "It looks like you are being blocked by gov/school/ISP." and recommending I download their app. It seemed fishy, so I tried on multiple machines/networks/accounts. It appears to be just a ploy to get you to download. Very shady. This was my favorite VPN though, so I'll keep watching it in case it's just giving the wrong error code somehow.

About 1.5 years ago both free and premium versions worked well. I bought 1-3 months subscriptions several times to make sure it is worth it and eventually paid for the whole year. I know that restrictions are getting worse and worse but even before the problem got so severe this VPN stopped working properly whileas a lot of other VPNs kept on doing their job even in free versions. Customer's support refused to give a refund due to their policy and stolled for the time promising to fix those problems (nearly a year has passed, guys!)
