Images are NOT being disabled at all. They are just being blanked out. Images are still being downloaded with each page, and they still take up space.

On top of that, dear author, can you please change the icon from a generic "prohibited" streetsign to something recognizable as pertaining to images?

Hides some images, other not. Switches on/off after refreshing page.
