I my case it was impossible to turn off proxy by clicking on socks icons. The sock turns grey from green, but proxy remains active.

Firefox 81.0 (64-bit) Linux Mint

Apologies for this, it was a reported bug that should be fixed in the new release.
Please let me know if the issue persists.

Hi, this extension is only a wrapper to toggle socks proxy settings from your browser. I'm not a proxy nor VPN provider.
