Does not work outside internal texting playground. It replaces the text in text field while typing but as soon as you hit "send" or "enter" it changes back to the short phrase before the change

It doesn't work in Facebook. It only consistently works in the configuration playground page.

Instead of doing what it was supposed to do, it turned my whole email into gibberish.

It was making troubles with original text. Delating parts of sentences...

EDIT: Sadly, this extension no longer works.

Without this extension, I would have had to switch to Chrome (gak!). Easy to add new abbreviations and easy to use them, without some awkward combo-key construct. Thank you!!!
