Probably the best option so far in software volume boosters, at least if you're mostly using Youtube. Though, this plugin (like all others of the same genre) fail to keep the volume setting for a site. So for instance if you watch a YT video and set it to +8dB, then watch a second YT video, you'll be back to +0dB and will have to manually set it back to +8dB or whatever. This is very annoying as unfortunately I have got one of those 800$ Acer P.O.S. laptops that have the speakers mounted ON THE BOTTOM so any sound is effectively half as loud as it normally would be on any normal laptop. I don't know what they smoked while designing this laptop, but thanks to your plugin, I can AT LEAST understand what the Youtuber says when volume is at 100% in Windows. If you could make it so that it retains the +dB setting for a given domain name or at the very least, have users edit the default +dB value to something else than +0dB it would be 5 stars out of 5!

I would love to include persistent memory but to add such a cache would request file access permission which spooks more users away from the extension.

Thanks to its ability to have both mono/stereo control and volume boost, my two plug-in needs were reduced to one. Also it works perfect.

Twitch audio breaks while the extension is active. Also doesn't work on most websites.

works on websites where the videos can change (like course lessons on udemy, where you stay on the same page, but the next video loads in)

another plugin worked only on the first video, but this one keeps working 👍👍

I learned about this extension from an Asmongold video—he uses it to adjust the volume of online videos and enable mono audio output. That's why I recommend giving this extension

makes videos on x mute. -dev fixed it. works great.

The mute should be fixed its a CSP issue; [x blocked the script and so when it tried to access it audio breaks, but thats why there's a blacklist.]

On sites where it works the extension is very helpful. However there are several sites where I have had to disable this extension to play video at all, including Hulu and Peacock.

Mutes audio on some sites I wanted to use it on. Works perfectly on sites where I don't need it. Great.

Warning, this prevents my Amazon Prime videos from playing at all. Maybe caused by some lack of DRM code.

Good, but it's just a compressor... I need something that boosts the volume with any compression being applied.
