Works as described. I'll never understand why certain sites (like Bandcamp or Patreon) don't have an on-site volume slider for their music widgets and instead just blast you at full volume... Being able to adjust the volume down per site/tab is just perfect and way better than having to temporarily turn down the volume for the whole browser instance. The FOSS nature and minimal permissions are the cherry on top that make this a perfect choice :)

    This addon still disables streaming sites like amazon prime and crunchyroll from playing videos. annoying...

    I learned about this extension from an Asmongold video—he uses it to adjust the volume of online videos and enable mono audio output. That's why I recommend giving this extension

    The mute should be fixed its a CSP issue; [x blocked the script and so when it tried to access it audio breaks, but thats why there's a blacklist.]

    On sites where it works the extension is very helpful. However there are several sites where I have had to disable this extension to play video at all, including Hulu and Peacock.

    Mutes audio on some sites I wanted to use it on. Works perfectly on sites where I don't need it. Great.

    Warning, this prevents my Amazon Prime videos from playing at all. Maybe caused by some lack of DRM code.

    Good, but it's just a compressor... I need something that boosts the volume with any compression being applied.
