As of June 29th, 2026, this does not work for me. Switching to another app will cause the music to stop shortly after it's done with the current song on YouTube Music (it'll play a few seconds into the next one before stopping.)

pretty simple and helpful add-on

works for a cople minutes on youtube, then tab gets killed.
