Unfortunately, after installing the Bitwarden extension for Mozilla Firefox, I noticed that some websites stopped working properly or failed to load at all. Disabling or removing the extension resolves the issue, which suggests it’s causing conflicts with certain page scripts. I hope the developers address this bug soon. For now, I had to uninstall it.

Very disappointed it use to be so easy to drop and drag one folder into another, but since extension update I cannot move one folder into another this is true with the web version. Why make it so hard when it use to be so easy. They have taken a great password manger and are making it horrible to use. If you cannot move folders around easy what good is it. And the support pages have poor to bad information. Why is Bitwarden not hearing the uses complaints and fix what use to be a great password manager.

Too bad there isn't a zero rating. I can't believe anyone likes this turd. There is no help that tells you what exactly bitwarden can and cannot do, only useless marketing hype. Will it comb my records and pick up all my passwords? Or do I have to enter them one at a time? Or does it automatically record only future passwords? I have one day to file all my passwords and there are over a hundredd of them. What's this 'My Vault thing'? A file folder somewhere? Where? What exactly does it store? Have I just wasted 45 mins. trying to get this turkey to work?

Bit warden still has not responded to me. Abandoneware...Unable to interact with the save password prompt... The extension works on chrome but not in Firefox. Desperately needs a blacklist and other features!

Well its ok, but also sucks. For example, it has a report that shows you where you reuse passwords. If you have a single entry that has two different URL's like parts.ford.com and ford.com, it counts that as two passwords, however it is only one. And if from that report you try to delete one, it deletes them both. This kind of BS goes on throughout the app. It seems to be developed by folks who don't think deeply.

Another example? No 2 sites on the internet agree on what makes a password. Some only only all 10 characters, some 20, some restrict what special characters can be used, others dont. Instead of letting you quickly adjust when adding a site or changing a password you have to go change the default settings for the password generator, and then remember to set them back to something secure. Just asinine.

1 step forward 2 steps back. Each realease makes annoying ui changes that make it less user friendly. Latest version, ctrl+y to (in firefox) doesn't give focus to the search vault. It may sound trivial, but when I use this password manager in very delicate environments, using the mouse to search is a pain in th a$$

Doesn't work with biometrics on either Windows desktop or android. Constantly logs you out even after adjusting settings, and doesn't connect to desktop app properly.

Hard to save my newly generated password (using the context menu) as the extension keeps clearing my clipboard. And guess what, then i need to go back to generator history and each time it generated new entry to history so you end up confuse which one is the one you picked earlier.

the add on refuses to stay open while windows hello biometric unlock occurs which breaks the unlock. I have to open it in the add on side panel to force it to stay open while focus changes to the biometric authentication. no other browser on windows, mac, or linux has this issue with the bitwarden add on. it is only firefox and only on windows. please fix this issue

Destroys browser performance. What happened? I genuinely disable it when I'm not actively needing it. What a let down. Used it for years. Looking for an alternative now.

Slow, buggy since the UI update. It take almost 60 seconds to update a password now, not use able anymore.

Everything related to mail binding is nonsense: it is not known who uses them on another server or how. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The master password and all passwords should be stored only on your device.

Whatever they did in the Feb 19 release, they should reverse it. The new UI is clunky and completely unintuitive. The button to autofill is now a tiny spec. The card that used to autofill just shows the details. I've reverted to the 2024.12.4 version until such a time when they fix these issues.

Loved it until new UI. Now it sucks. Old UI was faster and way more efficient to use. Please either rollback UI changes or let us choose between old and new.

Bitwarden has lost its way. The extension has gotten worse and worse since its major update late last year (that nobody was asking for anyway). After its latest update, the extension is completely unusable on Mac, and apparently there is no urgency to issuing a fix. Poorly written, poorly designed, poorly executed, poorly tested, slow bloated mess.

It was just fine, then they updated the interface.

Now there are missing features (auto prompt biometrics, for example).

Also, why do I need it to list my entire password vault contents on every site?!? WTF

WARUM??? Ein Update heißt, das es BESSER werden muss. Mit diesem UPDATE ist es SCHLECHTER geworden. Die Windows Hello kommt nun nicht mehr Automatisch. Ich muss wieder ein Klick mehr machen. WARUM???

Das beste Beispiel wie man ein gut funktionierende Erweiterung mit einem kleinem "fix" komplett verkacken kann.
Vermutlich ein Freizeitprogrammierer der sich nur mit ChatGPT selbst auf die Schulter klopft.
Gratuliere du programmier-nobody. Hättest du mal selber diese Erweiterung benutzt hättest du selbst bemerkt wie langsam/nervig die zusätzlichen klicks sind. Und dabei ist die verschlimmerung der übersichtlichkeit mal außer acht gelasssen. Aber fällt ein chatgpt programmiere vermutlich nicht auf der nur 5 passwörter speichert weil der rest auf einem zettel am bildschirm klebt.

In Kurz: langsame response, mehr klicks, grauenhaft unübersichtlich
Lösung: Downgrade zur vorherigen version

Congratulations, you programming nobody. If you had ever used this extension yourself, you would know how slow/annoying the additional clicks are. And that doesn't even take into account the overview in clarity. But a Chatgpt programmer who only saves 5 passwords because the rest are stuck on a piece of paper on the screen will probably not notice.

In short: slow response, more clicks, confusing interface
Solution: downgrade to the previous version

I don't like the new UI. Everything looks weird and the buttons are really small

used to be great but new extension sucks! the UI is terrible, it seems someone who have not been using it wrote it. I had to enable 5 different settings in different places to get it to work nicely.

Fingerprint login is broken saying extension is out of date but there are no updates either.
