This addons have a big bug, sometimes without any reason deactivate the javascript spoof, I add the photos, chameleon is active, spoof my browser but the site can detect via javascript original SO and browser, it's a big problem this. picture:

With ras this bug is not present, it's only of chameleon, appaire that working and without any reason do not spoof.

I hope you can fix this problem. I see this bug from long time, usually i check many times in the sites if the spoof working e sometimes i find that do not working via javascript.

Can you create an issue here with your settings at the link above?

Have you tried resetting Chameleon's settings and selecting a profile + enable script injection? I'm not experiencing issues with a new install of Chameleon v0.12.0.

EDIT: This was caused by conflicting extensions.

    Very good extension. It provides a lot of useful options for privacy and fingerprinting protection.

    Even though I specify a profile in the whitelist, only the "Real" or "Random" basic settings actually take effect. The "Random" setting works very well; I think it is excellent if your goal is simply to protect your privacy.
    However, it does not meet the needs of users who want to use "Real" (or "Random") by default but switch to Chrome for specific sites.
    It didn't suit my requirements.

    Normally I don't write reviews here (this is my first and maybe last review) but I had to for "The Chameleon".

    Effortlessly the best useful extension on FireFox. It literally does what it says, almost too well. Like It spoofed the language I use to Hindu and man did I struggle finding everything in Hindu. But it was just doing its Job.

    So, let it spoof everything except the language. Other than that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!!!!!!

    slow to load. resets your settings without input requiring you check them before starting. Old user agent lists need updating.
    good for faking out anti-free speech bad website moderators-there are so many. need a good guide on how to best make your fingerprint useless to trackers and censor sites. It seems to work on some sites and not on others. True time zone was detected even when "spoofed". it's spoof settings work on "cover your tracks" but I'm guessing some sites they do not work. It's a cat and mouse game. Fingerprinting is evil and we really need a good undetectable spoofer.

    This extension WILL randomly delete your settings and it WILL fail in importing your previous settings:

    "Invalid setting value: options.webRTCPolicy"

    Doesn't matter what version the settings backup was from, the extension is useless.

    In a world where everything is spying on everyone; having chameleon to spoof your browser is invaluable!

    Right now, the biggest problem with this add-on is that it tends to not always work well on some websites, so I haven't used it as much as I would've liked. For example, it causes problems on YouTube, and sites protected by Cloudflare always put me into this annoying endless captcha loop if I'm using a custom profile.

    UI is nice, but it doesn't really seem to spoof very well... Most sites still immediately know I'm using Firefox when I have this set up to spoof Chrome. Only sites that check solely the User Agent string think I'm on Chrome; any other "detection method" returns Firefox for me. :(
