Only leaving a review due to the popup that came up while browsing, for an extension I use to get rid of excess popups, the fact that it communicates via over-page popups feels very intrusive. It is the only extension I have that communicates this way and I know multiple people who have uninstalled it due to it.

Blocked two trackers right off the bat (after page refresh.) In the past this addon has caused lag, or addded to it, or crashed or stopped working.) It's been several years so I'll try it again. Will come back later and bump the stars up if it stays good for a few weeks.

Возможно он и не плохой, просто меня замучило окно "#DistributionPopupDesktopRectangle__e8wewcx9yw75g0gk41cq-PhJvaFd.Root" в этой строке меняется только конец и окно снова пол экрана загораживает, надеялись, что ваша программа поможет - увы нет - ваша программа не блокирует эту строку после обновления страницы она снова появляется с новым "-PhJvg9S.Root" или "-PhJwLZT.Root" учтановка галочки "блокировать похожие" не помогла, а это строка собрана уже более 100 шт. и всё появляется.

used to work really good, but stopped working on YouTube as of today for me.

WebRTC палится, да и в xyяндексе как будто бы трекеры не блокирует... Я не специалист, но как-будто бы это расширение, мягко говоря, не подходит для анонимизации. А для блокировки рекламы у меня есть другой плагин. Возможно изменю своё мнение, но пока что не впечатлён.

Ever since the most recent update, it's had trouble detecting ads/trackers/etc on some sites. It'll say 'zero' and I'll get in-page popups and banner ads anyway. Also rather dislike that the 'restrict site' option appears to be missing now.

Probably still good, but they're losing the plot. It's unwieldy to go through the settings and even then you still don't know if the trackers are up to date. I had an account there but I wanted to change the password. Nope! You can change the email but not the compromised password. I tried a new account but some standard symbols aren't accepted. Good luck. I'd rather have the old version.

Ghostery is sometimes great, sometimes not so great. I have seen it allow through multiple pop-up "Adult" ads (for X-rated games especially) while triggering the YouTube "We're about to stop your viewing" warning. I understand this is an ongoing war between Google and ad-blockers, and Google needs to wise up both in the number of ads it employs on YouTube and their length (a 30 second ad every 3 minutes on a video is ridiculous). And if Ghostery won't stop X-rated ads, what value is it?

This is a complex field and I sympathize with the company. It does stop a LOT of ads and the settings are versatile (allowing to restrict some sites while blocking others). But it doesn't really do all the job all the time... and the YouTube war is a real problem for the whole industry since Google seems to have no common sense whatsoever.

After a time it just causes issues and have to disable it re enable it or just uninstall it and reinstall it weird this is new.
Some time also bugs out and cant click on links or just will broke the links.
Web page log in some time brakes as well.
Overall its good but to much to debug here.
