- Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot mp, há 9 horasNotification monitor rarely marks unavailable items as unavailable on Firefox on Windows 11. It does the same on Safari (now defunct) and Orion on iOS26 and iPadOS26. I've used this for dozens of versions and it has been this way for awhile now. None of these versions respects the "Hide Gold-tier Notifications for Silver-tier user" setting, for Notification Monitor or for AI. After being a paid member for months, I cancelled because these basic (free tier) functions make an already frustrating Vine experience, even more frustrating. This add-on is suppose to alleviate the frustration of sharing Vine with bots, vultures and hoarders. Hopefully fmaz fixes this in the future.

je so há 8 horas napisałThe unavailable status can only know if an item is unavailable after someone fail to order it and received the specific ITEM_NOT_IN_ENROLLMENT error code. This has been explained over and over again: this system can generate both false positive (in case of restocking) and false negative. I try to avoid false positive over having false negatives.
Similar thing for the Hide gold tier option: Vine Helper has to guess if an item is Gold based on various criteria, for one thing, it canot hide an item without knowing the ETV of said item. And again, for the sake of fairness of access, and because Vine now validate things server side, VH will side on displaying the item to you if it's not absolutely sure it's a gold item.
I'm sorry Vine Helper did not meet your expectations, but there are technical limitations to what it can do given the information it can get from Vine. - Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot C2, há 13 diasExtension updates cause a constant nag window announcing the changes. Two days now... every few page loads I get a modal popup over the content letting me know again and again and again and again and again the new features.
I'm uninstalling the extension. This is ridiculous. - Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Stormy, há 9 meses2.X versions worked great. 3.0 update introduced hellish lag and constant crashes. It's had 13 version updates/patches in the past week and still has horrible lag and crashes. That should tell you all you need to know.
Update, since the dev 'responded': rolling out an update that was a complete rewrite, with no warning or notification provided - one day the plugin worked, the next day it simply didn't - was a terrible idea. A mistake, even. One that was fixable by reverting back to known-working code. Instead, the dev decided to push forward and insist it worked fine and then try and patch it over and over and over again, claiming to make progress (and yet lag time is still just as excessive as it was at the start, 13 updates later, dark theme is broken, runaway RAM usage and crashing is more rampant than ever, etc).
Trying to blame these failures on a lack of testers, rather than a lack of wisdom to admit a mistake and rollback to a working version until testing can actually be completed, says far more about the developer than they'd like to admit, apparently. Suggesting users hop in the discord to help with features is not ideal, especially since the developer isn't even the admin of their own discord, and the actual admin members are shitheads that prefer to troll people and exhibit constant toxic behavior rather than actually provide help or support, which is genuinely insane.
But hey, at least the 2.x version works exceedingly well. Instant, responsive, snappy, full-featured, and above all else: it's never crashed my browser. If you're looking for a plugin that'll work great, install the 2.x version, that one deserves five stars. Or go use the competitor I guess, since that's literally what the developer is suggesting.Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so há 9 meses napisałThank you for taking the time to provide some feedback. As you may know, minor contributions aside, Vine Helper is developped by only 1 person (me).
The v3 of vine helper was almost a complete rewrite of the program with more of less 7000 lines of changes.
As much as I called for testers, I found very few. So putting online a major new version like that to 6000 users spread accross 10 countries is deemed to be a rocky experience as everyone uses VH differently.
Adding to that that in this first week a database migration to a new had to be done, I understand that the user experience was not great.
While annoying, I hope the 13 revisions within a week show how much efforts I am putting in promptly fixing the various issues people are reporting.
If you are encountering issues and would like to help me address them, I encourage you to reach out to me directly via either discord servers, email or filling an issue on Github.
If you are unhappy with Vine Helper, I encourage you to look at Ultra Viner, another alternative extension which takes a different approach to improving vine experience. - Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 18706856, há um ano
