- Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 13305358, 8 jierren lynLiterally it is a useless extension, I say literally because it only "blocks" some sites and others do not, and sometimes it doesnt work either. And write "blocks" because it does not avoid the pop-up since it opens an annoying tab, that's why it's useless.
I have been using this extension for years but with the last big update they destroyed all the good work they had done years ago, luckily there is an alternative that I found that is similar to the previous one and functional (I recommend it before this) - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 13533211, 8 jierren lynI liked this addon
But i don't want even a second to be displayed
The website address also appear - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Paolo, 8 jierren lyn
- Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 13530348, 8 jierren lyn- the new version is toooooooo slow
- the new interface is confusing
- does not block sites that already have listings
- Most of the time it does not let add url
Summing up: it's useless - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 13530313, 8 jierren lyngreat blocker, blocks all url's even just specific sections of websites.

- Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Bamblok, 8 jierren lynGoddamnit, it's always the password system that gets messed up.
Yeah, it blocks websites just fine. I'm sure for a simple parent wanting to protect their child from harmful websites, it's fine.
The transition into Quantum didn't mess up BlockSite at all. In fact, it cleaned up the UI, added new features, and even got the password system... half working.
Before, you would try to input a password... and everything would stop working. Now, you can put in a password, and it'll actually register! Hooray!
Strangely enough, though, it does NOT, by default, password-lock blocked websites. Rather, the BlockSite options are password-locked. Luckily, though, there is an easy-to-access setting in said options that allows you to password-lock blocked websites.
Except it, you know, doesn't work. It acts as if I never turned on the setting. PLEASE fix this! It'd be insanely useful to me if you did. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Pa2Henry, 8 jierren lynNice
But some websites that are blocked still can appear
Please fix it - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 13375737, 8 jierren lyn

- Z 4 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Juani, 8 jierren lynVery useful and effective! With the recent update the interface is friendlier and easier to use. Although the translations into Spanish need to be polished (I can help, if you want). Thanks!
- Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot knphilipp, 8 jierren lynUnchanged since last update to firefox, I can still access blocked sites, I still can get redirected to blocked sites by scripts.
Before the changes to firefox, this app was literally the best option for blocking "redirect" urls. (FireInk.com, pipsol.*, etc). However now it won't block the sites like before. It no longer prevents the page from loading. (No more pop up about how the site contains parts on the black list). On a redirect url, it will still load and then redirect to obnoxious (or pornographic) advertisements. Before by preventing the loading of the blacklisted url, the redirect would fail and the desired link would load like it should!
Example: I tested this with google.com. It would load the website for an instant before replacing it with the message that the site is blocked by BlockSite. An instant is too long, the redirect urls would have chained multiple pop ups with annoying fullscreen effects, and "error" messages that require being clicked on.
It is impossible to enter the url "Example.*/*" anymore, as the wildcard is an invalid url (it can't replace .com, org, xm, ag, tg, to, biz, gov, etc...) This makes it harder to block websites with multiple endings. For example if I wanted to block google, I would have to literally go and block every single country extension instead of just putting "www.google.*" Please change this back, it is very useful.
Why remove functionality? I can no longer edit the list once it is made, only delete entries. I can no longer make a note of why I blocked a website. I often did this for scam "Dating" popup ads, or pornographic content since the url would be a garbled string of random characters which was impossible to identify in an hour.
The addon, no longer performs as advertised. I'm currently looking for an alternative, or a way to install the old version. I would use an older version of firefox if required. Screw speed, I just wanna surf the net safely. TOP !
- Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot 4ugeistr, 8 jierren lynA lifesaver app. Works like clockwork. Has enough features for most personal customization. Using in FF 57.0
- Z 4 z 5 pohódnoćenywot NekoYama628, 8 jierren lyn
- Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot joblack, 8 jierren lynSends 'anonymous' data via default to the server. Not trustworthy.
- Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 13509331, 8 jierren lynAfter restart the addon didn't anything.
URL list (I switched to white list) is empty too.
Maybe the reason is new Firefox...
