- Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot SRS, ien jier lynIts a good add-on (as expected from Sponsorblock dev), however i believe it relies a bit too much on crowd sourcing
In my opinion, it should use one of those AI websites which summaries a youtube and do it for the titles. - Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Th4t, ien jier lyn
- Z 4 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Ad-Free Life, ien jier lynI wasn't sure about this when I first installed it, but now that I've gotten used to it it has taken hold of me and I resent its absence. It makes browsing youtube search results and recommendations a lot more relaxing. Now, it's generally nice not to see obnoxious thumbnails, except they do often belong to obnoxious *videos*, which no extension can fix, and the replacements can seem misleadingly like something that might be worth clicking on. On every video link, the extension adds a button to show the original title and thumbnail rather than the dearrowed one, and I did have to get in the habit of checking that before watching a video, but now I hardly think about it.

- Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot EliteCanadian, ien jier lynI created an account with Firefox in order to review this outstanding extension. Ajay, thank you for helping with the overwhelming lack of ethics within "creators"
My favorite part (and the main reason for this review) is that it was a LTT thumbnail that made me reinstall this, Linus's thumbnails are the biggest clickbait, but to see LTT featured on this MAIN SHAMING PAGE, love it.
Highly recommended to anyone that's sick and tired of "creators" abusing their followers. - Z 4 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 18747889, ien jier lynTells you to activate and there's no option to get free access as the page doesn't work
"An error occurred during a connection to dearrow.ajay.app."
e/ I'd suggest allowing access to addon in some way without connecting to a website so that the addon is usable for people facing similar issueWotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so ien jier lyn napisałIt sounds like something on your network is disallowing connections to dearrow.ajay.app
If you aren't able to use the free access system, try using this key: Fbmzg-7c642 - Z 4 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Tyrand, ien jier lynNot nearly as useful as SponsorBlock.
Perfectly adequate not-clickbait titles keep getting changed into generic titles
Takes too many clicks to downvote a bad title. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Killerhurtz, ien jier lyn15 seconds into the free 60 minute trial and my youtube front page was already so much more pleasant that I sprung for the $1 license.
I expected nothing less from the dev of SponsorBlock :) - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot gorp, ien jier lyn

- Z 4 z 5 pohódnoćenywot 00yunje, ien jier lynDepending on who you're subscribed to, this might not make much impact on your browsing experience. Due to titles being crowd-sourced, not every video will be equally affected. Sometimes, the suggested titles can get REALLY pedantic for otherwise perfectly serviceable titles. For example, "The History of The Simpsons Hit & Run World Records" by Summoning Salt became... "The History of The Simpsons Hit & Run (All Story Missions) World Records". Like, that's *barely* more information, and it's stuff I think most people would've assumed anyway from the original title. However, in both cases I've seen this happen, they've reverted back to the original titles soon after. (There's not even a record of there ever being a proposed title, so you're just gonna have to trust me that they were there. I know what I saw.)
Generally, they make the biggest difference with channels like Kurzgesagt or Tom Scott, creators they specifically showcase in the screenshots. Titles can be a bit of a mixed bag for others, but more for the fact that not every video - that might need a retitle - will get them. The generic thumbnail replacer makes the bigger difference to me, imo. It just gives you an honest impression of what each video's gonna look like, literally. And it's nice not having to deal with the obnoxious, gaudy thumbnails people put out sometimes.
Despite the occasionally questionable re-titles, I think the crowd-sourced titles are decent and in good faith. I appreciate the number of guidelines the devs put out to even propose a proper title. It sort of feels like Wikipedia - it might have its vandals, but collectively I think it's in good hands. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Tyrone, ien jier lynAn extremely solid addon that prevents my brain (I have Inattentive ADHD) from falling for clickbait on instinct and titles videos properly for me to tell what they are (I have OCPD).

- Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot FoxEnjoyer, ien jier lynGreat extension from a great developer. I paid extra, because I have also been using SponsorBlock for years. Both SponsorBlock and DeArrow are worth every penny.
- Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Anonymous, ien jier lynEdit: I don't mind if the reminder appears every single time, as long as I have to only confirm once (1 button). But, I don't care how many times the 5 confirmations thing appears, if it does, I'll just cancel. It's THAT annoying to me.
While, I do like this extension. I dislike the new change of having to confirm 5 times before I can submit an altered title. This is significantly detract me from even bothering, it's too much hassle. A single confirmation should be enough to get the message across.Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so ien jier lyn napisałThe guidelines reminder does not appear for every submission
It appears the first time you submit, once more a day later, then three days later, then a week later, then once per month.
People have mentioned now knowing the rules thanks to this dialog so it does seem to be working to try to improve the titles being submitted
Edit: If you think it's too much effort to click a few checkmarks once a month, then yea, please don't submit. We do want people putting some level of effort when thinking of new titles - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot RandomAnvil, ien jier lyn
