Does exactly what I need it to do! Got so annoyed that Instagram autopaused just because I switched tabs while a reel was playing. However, this can also be useful for other things.

kann man den countdown von filehostern im hintergrund weiter laufen lassen, videos spielen auch weiter ab und pausieren nicht. sehr gut.

works perfectly, this should be built into the browser itself, the user should have the option to choose if they want to allow or deny access to the Visibility API.
