The last version have lost the direct view of forecasts in the status bar of firefox...which made everything much more immediate.. I solved the problem re-installing the old version 2.4.8 and blocking the automatic update of the addon
Sorry, but the statusbar/addonbar is missing in new versions of Firefox. The current version of Forecastfox is the version for the new API: WebExtensions
