Too unreliable for me. From time to time it resets itself unexpectedly, and then the options are back to the default and all notes are lost.

I'm also looking replacing for Quicknote. Unfortunately FreeNote has many bugs. It doesn't remember settings, paths for notes files. It doesn't update notes to these files and it only "saves" notes if sidebar is open. Not working, and not saving setting are common problem every note addon I tested. I don't know why. Tested on Firefox 56.0....and Firefox 79.0.
