Lean Library wot Lean Library
6 pohódnoćenjow
- Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot charlie-chaplin, hace un díaThe extension completely froze/refused to open after updates. Furthermore, the reference manager and annotation features were completely missing because my uni has subscribed to Lean Library, but they have not enabled Lean Library Workspace. This silently bricked the reference manager without any error messages.
The Solution:
Clean Reinstall: Fully uninstall and reinstall the extension (don't just update it) to clear the corrupted local cache and un-freeze the UI toolbar icon.
Add "Lean Library Open" as a "secondary Institute". This forces the reference manager features to activate alongside your university's proxy.Wotmołwa wuwiwarja

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. - Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot KayTee, hace 9 mesesIt's great at finding versions of papers that I can access through my university library account making it a very useful tool when researching. However it slows other sites down and often causes them to freeze so has to be kept uninstalled when not in use. Please fix this issue. I can't just pause it when not in use as it still slows down sites, please fix this.

Clare - Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Rafael, hace 6 añosThe extension creates pop-ups which are unnecessarily big and don't disappear automatically after some time.
Sometimes the pop-ups are useful when they provide a link to an alternative access site.
Most of the times, the pop up simply states that an article has been unlocked.
The pop-ups block a bit less than 1/4 of the web page, completely unnecessarily in either case.
It would be very much appreciated if this could be fixed since the extension works well otherwise.Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so hace 5 años napisałHello Rafael
We appreciate your feedback.
The pop-up size is determined by the institute's logo size and it is managed by your library but we understand this might be frustrating for you. To address this, on the Lean Library's extension page, please tick "Skip the popup and automate my access.", you will then stop seeing the pop-ups unless you click on our extension.
To increase the optimization for our users, we are currently working on an end-user dashboard, where you will be able customize your own pop-up settings and set your own preferences.
This is under development at the moment and we will release it soon so keep an eye out for an announcement about this!
Best wishes
Clare - Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Kensall, hace 6 añosThis add on is a helpful tool for saving time when scouring google scholar. However there aren't any options to disable pop-ups. I'd like to disable the 'announcement' style pop ups which aren't giving me any new information.
