is it possible to open and focus a blank page at browser startup? I want to avoid loading a heavy website during the startup.

If that's possible, I will put 5 stars.

I have used this add-on for some time now, does exactly what it says on FF Nightly. However, in past week when launching browser fresh (not a restart/restore), the first non-pinned tab that has always opened with browser (home page) cannot be closed now. If tab's 'X' is clicked, the tab dims but remains and cannot be dismissed. Do browser restart and then the tab can be closed with 'X'. Does not happen with any other non-pinned tab, only with this one opened at launch. Disable this add-on and the issue goes away.

I really like the concept, but lately it seems to not open all my pinned tabs - or it simply opens the last two multiple times.

Works great! I tried some other solutions and add-ons before this and they didn't work, but this one worked perfectly.

Works well, except it keeps adding and increasing the number of the same tabs each time the browser is opened. It should monitor the addresses of the existing pinned tabs. If this is fixed, it deserves 5 stars.

Works ok in terms of opening those tabs, but you end up with extra pinned tabs from when Firefox closed last time, which renders this add-on pretty useless.

the add-on duplicates some of the open tabs. It looks like you check for the open tabs by comparing addresses. What you should do is to compare only the domains.

For example, if Firefox Session manager saves the tab with the following URI:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?fs=1&source=atom#all/FQfcgxwFbnrMMLgHMKHLZVJJtBswx

StartupApps checks it against:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox

and opens a new tab, which is not what we want.

Opens the tabs as pinned, which is good. However, Firefox automatically restores any tabs which were pinned at the time of closing. This leads to duplication. It should check if there is already another tab open with the same address; if so, do not open another one.

Does what it says but it would be more useful if it would first check, if these URLs are not already opened in pinned tabs. Usually Firefox will restore pinned tabs, unfortunately not always. Here this extension could be a great help but right now it will often lead to double pinned tabs.
