Great extension! Even better if JavaScript could be allowed in custom HTML.

No stretch image/video option (usercontent.css couldn't do it either)
If certain widgets are allowed custom css, why not the background settings?

my css works for clean edges, but I couldn't stretch.

Besides my qualms, everything looks like it works pretty nicely. Adding a lot of local images can be difficult to sort through though.

Mozilla keeps changing the Home/New tab page and search behavior. This add-on helped me get back what I had for many years: a search box in the center that doesn't make my cursor jump to the URL bar. And some Quicklinks for favorites. And unlike the standaard FF Home/New tab page it works exactly the same in Private Windows. Happy with it so far.

When I open a new tab, it takes 3-4 seconds to actually load a Tabliss custom "new tab" page, on the powerful PC that is under 0 load.

Thanks for developing this fork. I deeply like tabliss but I did not want to use an addon that's not maintained anymore. Bugs will occur sooner or later so I moved to tabliss-ng. Now I can use a developed version while still using the sleek and clean layout I can find only in this new-tab addon, especially links and monochrome icons. Thanks a lot again :)

tabliss -> tabnine -> tablissNG. So far so good

While in certain ways it is nice to see someone pick up where the OG developer left off, What would make the extension even better is the ability to hide the 'Next Background' button or remove it altogether.

Back when i used the OG tabliss, If i used the 'Upload Image' option, It didn't have that if i just uploaded one image.
Having the button present makes it feel slightly obnoxious.

Sorry if i offend anyone by saying that.

Terrific to see Tabliss so well maintained. The new features are subtle and welcome; no bloat! :)

For years I've been using Tabliss and having just discovered the existence of this, which I have now switched to, it is a wonderful development to see how much more functional TablissNG is by comparison.

Really cool.

One bit of constructive criticism is that the custom search engine would be more accessible if it was reworded to add something along the lines that users can try, as a general guide, going to the desired search engine, copying the URL of two different standard searches and replacing the part of the URL that changes between the two with {searchTerms}.

Great plugin. It fixes the quotes not showing up on the tabliss extension.

I love this extension, the way to backup and restore settings from the abandoned Tabliss to TablissNG is super easy as well, and the new quality of life features are amazing additions!
