Estensione essenziale e ben realizzata. Le note per sito, la modalità post-it e la sincronizzazione funzionano perfettamente. Il developer è attento e risponde velocemente. Indispensabile per chi lavora online. Complimenti, merita tutte le 5 stelle!

Uso Notefox dal giorno della sua pubblicazione, estensione a me molto utile.
Purtoppo recentemente si sono verificati molti crash di Firefox apparentemente dovuti a Notefox, in particolare su Windows 10. Ultimamente si è rilevato che i crash erano causati da Firefox ed il bug è stato corretto da Mozilla in Bugzilla dove lo stato risulta "risolto".

Complimenti allo sviluppatore ed a tutti quelli che hanno contribuito a risolvere questo problema 5 stelle è tutto meritato per questa estensione.

I have been using Notefox since the day it was released, and I find it very useful.

Unfortunately, there have been many Firefox crashes recently, apparently due to Notefox, particularly on Windows 10. It has recently been discovered that the crashes were caused by Firefox, and the bug has been fixed by Mozilla in Bugzilla, where the status is now “resolved.”

Congratulations to the developer and everyone who contributed to solving this problem. This extension deserves 5 stars.

C'est une super extension ! Elle permet de prendre des notes et de les afficher sur l'écran ("sticky"). J'adore le compte Notefox. Merci.

Pro:
• FOSS
• Useful declared functionality.

Cons:
• The extension settings are reset periodically (the default settings do not suit me).
• The account is periodically logged out (used to synchronize settings between extension instances on different computers or to restore them after reinstalling the browser).

2025-08: At some point, Mozilla Firefox stopped launching in normal mode, but only in Troubleshoot Mode. While in Troubleshoot Mode, I disabled all extensions, then started enabling them one by one, restarting the browser afterwards. When I got to the Notefox extension, in which I had quite a lot of notes by that time (a hundred or more), enabling it almost immediately leads to an irreversible hang of the browser. I am forced to kill the browser process, launch it again, enable the extension - and again get an unresponsive browser window.
I had to stop using the extension.

So far the only extension in this kind that really works. For me, it is a life saver.
The developer is responsive.

Works well as described. Wish there will be tagging/label option and more optional/customisable colours theme than in the future.

I really would have loved this as it seems so well put together, clean, and thought out except for on flaw. Yes, it does create notes for a page, however those notes do not show up on the page at all. In fact there is nothing to let make you aware that you ever did create a note on a page. Instead you have to click on the extension and then you will see your note. So, unless you remember you've made a notation to a page somewhere, or refer to notes made in the past within the extension itself and then revisit a page from there, you have no idea if you've done so. Its a bit unrealistic to expect people to remember they've created notes on websites/pages should they go back to them if there is no visible sign that you've done ever done so.

Aside from that major flaw, the only other aspect I would add would be to allow for the add-on to be accessed through the contextual menu rather than having to click on a pinned icon in the toolbar.

So this is nice! But Can we have the option in the settings to move the notes to the sidebar so that it can stay open while we are browsing?

It has some keyboard focus issues sometimes (cursor keeps going to the start of the editor while you type), but the ability to associate the note with e.g. certain subdirectory trees of a site makes it perfect to keep notes between all pages in certain part of the site.

I absolutely love this add-on. Extremely well made. It would be neat if I could edit the text or UI color from the add-on toolbar. Awesome.

10/6 Thanks for the reply. I found a color I like. I keep having this issue though where the window flickers and it's not word-wrapping the text.

Nach diesem Tool hatte ich lange Zeit Ausschau gehalten. Ein Notizzettel der sich auf einer bestimmten Website einblendet, zu der ich mir einen Hinweis erstellt hatte. Top :)

my only feedback would be to allow different full-color sticky notes or drop-down menu notes.

For instance:
- For stickies: instead of the "tag" being cyan, the whole note is cyan
- For drop-down, when selecting cyan, the orange border/frame changes to cyan
