    Just discovered this today. Just what I've been looking for after the end of omnivore app site about a year ago.
    However, it's missing a crucial feature: ability to add tags to your notes & ability to search via tags. Examples of tags: #science, #people, #coding. etc.
    Please add something like that.

    Notefox doesn't work on all websites (especially it even is impossible to create a "Sticky note" - the colored PopUp - on addons.mozilla.org, but it also doesn't work on mastodon.social)...

    Edit:
    1) Title is visible and editable - right.
    2) Posting makes FF ask for a further permission,... but that's kinda unnecessary, since this 'posting' should occur anyway, so why isn't the permission added to all the others asked for while installing the AddOn...?

    Apart from that - works!

    Reminds me on an old FF Extension (a pre-web-extension-AddOn called "Sticky Notes")

    Hi, thanks for the review.

    In future, to get support, contact me via email. I'll reply to you below:

    1. If the option to show title textbox, when you START to write a note via the popup, it will be displayed the title textbox as well. If the note is empty, you won't see it
    2. To edit the sticky note "always", you have to DISABLE the option in Settings "Immersive sticky notes", if it's enabled, you'll need to go with the mouse over the "post-it" to edit it. Same for the opacity and to resize.

    Excellent extension! It would be perfect if it allowed notes to be saved locally.

    Hi! Notes are saved locally – and only if you use a Notefox Account data are ALSO saved online, but they remains also locally.

    In my Ubuntu + iBus + Firefox, Korean input is broken and only English can be typed, but this add-on is really practical. I recommend it!

    Just what I wanted
    Very useful for certain websites that I use
    The author very quickly assisted with a query that I had and a few minutes experimenting
    I was able to fulfil my requirements - automatically open a previously written note

    Anyway, the popup should show you the note (if present) automatically when opened. You can also “fix” on the screen setting it as sticky note

    It has some keyboard focus issues sometimes (cursor keeps going to the start of the editor while you type), but the ability to associate the note with e.g. certain subdirectory trees of a site makes it perfect to keep notes between all pages in certain part of the site.

    Nice one. However when taking notes on websites that play video/audio material addon's window shuts down or a cursor of the fixed window resets to the initial position, which makes taking notes on youtube videos unconvenient.

    Yes, so sorry about this issue.

    Excellent design + functionality. Donation sent!

    I would like to be able to do two things:

    1) format text of my notes (bold & italics would be enough), and

    2) create colored highlights on the page itself (but I know that's complicated).

    2) This add-on is not created with that purpose: I advice you to find out another add-on (and there are many) which give you this option
