- A stupid extension and an even stupider Android app.
The biggest problem with the Android app is that you can't import or use your own .ico or .png file for the icons. With 50+ entries, it looks awful. Some entries have icons, some don't, and some have the wrong icon. It's unusable. Completely ridiculous. I uninstalled everything. - Browser started popping up unprovoked "promo-newtab.club" links which tried to redirect to Russian sites.
This plugin per grep below was the culprit found via the GUID in about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
$ grep -r 'promo-newtab' .

- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 17922353, egy éveYou still need to manually approve on the mobile app each time you need 2FA.
I wanted 2FA authentication from my desktop, so I don't always need to grab my phone, log in, go to home screen, open the app, approve, BLAH BLAH. Still the same huge hassle with this extension.
For those people saying "bUT yoU wIlL gET HAcKeD!!!11!!", no, if this was an actual 2FA-extension then you would be able to set up your PC/Browser to be the second authentication. - Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 15030623, egy éveRequires a mobile application
- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 15547477, 2 éveYou need to approve the code on your phone, and then it doesn't work anyway. The extension is a complete waste of time.
- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: GameOverRob, 2 éveAbsolutely pointless extension, it sends an alert to your phone to approve the copy of the authenticator token. What a complete waste of time it was setting up all my codes in 2FAs when Ente has a desktop app that I can copy and paste the codes from on the computer directly without the use of "approving" a code copy to the browser on a device that I had to authenticate with the 2FAs app anyway. UTTERLY BEYOND STUPID. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME
- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 18516183, 2 éveSpent a few of hours importing tokens on my phone, only to find that the browser extension does not operate independently. I want something to sync token data to the computer so I DON'T NEED MY PHONE. If I wanted to deal with the phone when logging in through the browser, I would JUST USE THE PHONE.
- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 13446105, 2 éveSimilar experience to other recent reviews, this app currently slows down the browser. Disabling until a fix is applied.
- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 18088275, 2 éveI keep getting notices from Firefox saying this extension is slowing Firefox down. But aside from that, the extension is quite pointless. You can't manage your tokens from the extension, and you still have to open the app on your phone to approve the token request.
- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 18295895, 2 éveAll this does is provide a button that sends a message to your phone. You still have to open the phone app and select a code to send.. and by the time you've faffed around with that, the token has timed out.
Utterly pointless and actually worse than just using mobile to start with. - Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 18243821, 2 éve
- Csillagos értékelés: 1 / 5készítette: Elijah Lopez, 3 éveAfter watching the video, this extension is slower than freaking typing the code. Additionally, it doesn't even work for Firefox (Inactive Tab, please refresh this tab to use the 2FAS browser extension). I was expecting to be able to log into websites without having my phone on me, but alright one star will do.
