Does not work for videos in groups. Basically it has to be entirely public for it to work. Also the "about" section of this extension gives no info about the extension - just about Facebook.

Why is it that every time firefox updates, this addon feels the need to open up it's own tab with no new updates or anything. Even with automatic updates off, it still keeps popping up.

As for the addon itself, all it does is redirect a (public) video to a fb video downloader site, anyone can do that without the need for an addon.

It works only with not privately shared video

It does not work on private videos. Public videos can be downloaded using online tools, you don't need a addon. I installed this just for private videos but it doesn't work.
