Der email Anbieter GMX empfiehlt diese Erweiterung zur verschlüsselung. Ich vertraue GMX auch nicht zu 100% und nach dieser Empfehlung bin ich stark verunsichert mit GMX was die da empfehlen. Zur Sache Mailvelope will alle meine browserdaten auslesen...kannst vergessen

Contrary to the tone here, it works on Firefox/Linux with native gpg very well (current openSUSE Tumbleweed here).

Now on Ubuntu "Jammy" with firefox 101.0.1. Also the new version 4.6.0 does not work. It can be installed, but is not detected by mail applications. The browser console shows

ExtensionError: No such native application gpgmejson

I actually never succeeded in installing this addon with firefox. Sad story.

Installation in Firefox 91.7 on Linux not possible. The installation fails without any error message.

I really wish the GnuPG/Linux would get fixed. This has been an issue for years.

It's all in German. Would not log me into my account, even though my gmx account is open in Firefox. So, I entered the correct email address and password.

After 30 minutes trying to import my already existing private key (didn't want to generate a new one), without succeeding, I decided to uninstall it. Maybe it's my fault, but I really couldn't find a way to do it.

Erkennt in FF 67 GnuPG nicht mehr! Sollte schnellstens behoben werden!

Funktioniert seit Firefox 66.0.0 nicht mehr. GNUPG OSX wird nicht gefunden, obwohl installiert. Lässt sich nicht konfigurieren.

Funktioniert seit dem Update auf die neue FIREFOX-Version 66.0.3 nicht mehr ! Bitte schnellstens beheben !
