- Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: Jeddostotle7, 10 hónapjaVery good, very crucial addon, but after the Wayback Machine came fully back up into service in the wake of the outage, this extension's "Save Page Now" functionality has been spotty. Frequently tells me "Error: you need to be logged in to use 'Save Page Now'", despite the fact I am logged into the extension (and yes I did try logging out and logging back in, and this is after resetting my passwords on my Archive accounts).
EDIT: apparently this is a problem on the server API end, which is being looked into currently. - Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 18361856, egy éve
- Useful for when you want to make sure the pages you're reading will still be around in some form in the future, and to easily get at additional context. (Just remember that it checks *every page you view* against the Wayback Machine, so turn it off when you're not using it!)
If you enable auto-save, be sure to add to the exclusions list so it doesn't waste time trying to archive your webmail or control panel.
There *is* a private mode where it doesn't do anything until you ask it to. But that leaves you with essentially the same features as a pair of bookmarklets to check or save the current page. - Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: John Harris, 3 éveGenerally works well. It falls short in:
- Frequently auto-updating and then not operating at all until the user agrees to new permissions, which is a drag on workflow.
- Persists in annoying me with pop-up boxes to "check out more great features in settings," which is obnoxious when commercial software does it, let alone when a utility put out by a non-profit does. It should do its job and get out of my way. - Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 13884442, 4 éve
- Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: Kitty None, 4 éveEDIT: It was finally updated, and although it still is susceptible to false positives, it's greatly improved and extremely useful now!
Same complaint as everyone else: this addon would be SO useful if there was some way to dial down the sensitivity of the automatic redirect or turn it off — but since the addon hasn't been updated since 2018 I assume this bug won't be fixed. Hopefully someone picks up where they left off and implements this functionality into a working addon, because it's a great idea. - It's good but sometimes has false positives and thinks that a website is down when it isn't. In those cases there's no way around than to disable the extension. I wish they'd fix that.
But it's absolutely brilliant work the Internet Archive team are doing. - Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: Dark_Ronius, 5 éveI would like to see the option of a banner rather than a pop up. Other than that, great add on.

- Excellent extension, it's super useful.
Note that the current version is very outdated, three years out of date now. The github (/internetarchive/wayback-machine-webextension) shows that there is very active development, but changes are not being published to firefox like they are to chrome. - Csillagos értékelés: 4 / 5készítette: Firefox felhasználó 14949259, 5 éve
