    Love this extension. I use it all the time, when it cleans up for sites that I have to disable AdBlock.

    Would love to have a configurable hotkey.

    UPDATE: Received an answering email -- thanks! I created a hotkey (Alt H) which works great. Can I add a sixth star? :)

    We support hotkeys - Firefox just makes it a little hard to find the settings. Go to the Add-ons Manager in your browser (where it lists your installed add-ons), then click the gear icon in the upper left and select "Manage Extension Shortcuts" from the menu.

    It's in the addon description - https://github.com/andfarm/HideFixedElements. I don't have a device running Mobile Firefox but I'd happily accept a patch if you've tested it.

    Simple and perfect. But please add the ability to have a keyboard shortcut to activate it like in Google Chrome; it's simple to do, just add this to manifest.json:

    It just works!

    Click the button and away with those annoying fixed elements. Click again ... and back they are!

    After many attempts with grease-monkey scripts and other add-ons this just works!

    The only downside is that the last update is from 2018 ...don't know how long this add-on will keep working I just hope an update will follow when it stops working.

    An underrated add-on in in my humble opinion.

    I love having this added to my pc browser, it makes getting rid of stuck-on junk a simple task. I used to love it with my Android browser, until Mozilla screwed up a good thing. That's where I used it the most, where screen real estate is at a premium.

    Enhance your viewing pleasure and readability for any web page that requires scrolling: news sites, how-to pages, blogs, etc.
    Annoying top-menu bars, footers, and side-nags ("like us, share us") are instantly banished. I also use Firefox F9 (reader mode), but often the loss of formatting is too great. This add-on is perfect, retaining text and layout formatting.

    Gets the job done. Source code is clean and to the point, nothing extraneous or out of the ordinary. Highly recommend this to get rid of annoying web content especially on certain blogging platforms.

    So useful for making web pages readable, or getting rid of those annoying elements that move with the page as you scroll down.

    Very useful on websites with sticky headers and footers. By hiding those elements, you get more vertical space to read the main content.

    Perfect to hide those enormous windows that ask you to turn off adblock so that the adds on their website can redirect you to some shady "you won something" page (or, in alternative, the great "your phone has a virus and you have 25 seconds to download this file, otherwise it will self destruct").

    The most useful add-on I have ever used in my smart phone browser. Could you please develop it with automatic operation on certain pages?
