    Since there is no close button until you clic on tab, this extension is perfect, just mouse over, middle clic and its gone!

    Work on my touchpad middle click BUT UNFORTUNATELY, does NOT work on my external mouse middle click.
    Edit: I've got a new mouse and it's working fine now. Great add-on, thanks.

    I use it on my laptop without a mouse, but it is possible to use 3 finger tap as Middle click (it's in the Windows Control Panel) and this add-on is really useful for me. Recommend!

    This addon does exactly what I need it to without sacrificing any functionality for me.

    Unless your MMB is mapped for another needed function, this addon is a must have.

    Hi and thanks for your review. You can use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/double-click-on-page-close-tab/ instead which does what you want.

    I love this app for the new firefox quantum 57.0.2

    I really missed right mouse double click close tab in the old firefox and so i found this replacement.

    Works perfectly!

    before installing, I emailed the developer about the scary message i saw saying this permission can: "access your data for all websites" and that i was scared off and did not download your app.

    He responded with:

    Please ignore the scary permission prompt :) The code is open source and can be looked at here:

    So quit looking and download this app, its the best of its kind out there right now.
