It works good in most of the time, but sometimes it doesn't. Mostly when it comes to OTP it could make mistakes, and also auto-fill sometimes won't work. But it's ok overall..

Used 1Pass for about 7 years. Generally pretty solid, and usually the first to adopt new security practices. I like how smooth 2FA is.

The Firefox support could be better—the app always says "Firefox needs an update". Might be Snap related. Otherwise it functions fine. Sometimes the password autofill replaces fields that should be left alone.

1Pass uses a secondary password, called a "Secret Key", it's required when you use a new device. Be aware that you absolutely cannot lose this.

To the reviewer calling it "enshittification"—that's not what that word means. 1P has had secret key as long as I've used it (since 2019), that's long before Cory Doctorow even came up with that word.

Unsure of the hate on this one. It DOES work on new FF. Maybe the reviews aren't updating the extension?

As of today, the add-on doesn't appear as expected in the Firefox toolbar and the normal 1password icon does not appear in form fields (username, password, etc). I now have to tab back and forth between Firefox and the 1password desktop application.

The extension is currently broken as things stand. Please fix.

There are some annoyances with the constant new updates... For example often when I click 'unlock 1Password' in a password field, it won't open the password entry dialog that used to pop up. You have to click onto the extension icon in FF, which now has a loading screen for some reason... then enter your password, then go back to the password field and hope it worked.

Not sure why the app's updates have just been making it worse. Same on android too.

Difficult to understand.
