    Do not install this extension. If you have it installed, remove it immediately and clear all your cookies. See other 1-star reviews describing the same behavior over years: this is a textbook case of a browser extension monetizing its users through covert affiliate fraud (link hijacking and affiliate cookie stuffing).

    This was a good extension, until it recently started injecting affiliate links and hijacking. Do not install.

    Malicious things occur with this extension. Injecting various things depending on what the page is (shopping affiliate links for an example). Anything willing to inject isn't worth using

    Was great when I first installed quite some time ago. Recently I started noticing page redirects from the Google Search results; this would be any result. When clicking on a link, such as Amazon, the page would redirect to some rando site seen in the URL box with loads of tracking information, sometimes it would do 2 or 3 redirects, and then finally go to the page I originally clicked on.
    Clicking the back button would go back to the search results, and clicking the same link would go directly to that link. This made tracking what was going on a lot harder.
    But after disabling an add-on and doing search result clicks, I came to this one and when I disabled it, the redirects stopped completely.
    This app is redirecting your clicks and collecting information, or self-affiliating like the Honey debacle.
    Remove this app and clear your cookies to make sure you have none of these tracking/affiliate cookies left.

    Been using this extension successfully for a long time for work, but it suddenly stopped working today. Tried removing and reinstalling, no luck. Must have something to do with the latest update?

    ETA: Unable to respond via the email address that was given. No such address. The issue of the timer being stuck on "stopped" persists, and had to finally disable the extension as it seems to be hanging up the site I was using it on.

    12/17/25 Tried installing again (hoping the bug had been fixed), but now it won't even install!

    Dobrý den, chápu vaše znepokojení. Mrzí nás, že to vyvolalo takovou reakci.

    Chtěl bych vás poprosit, abyste si v Zásadách ochrany osobních údajů přečetl část "We do not collect" (Nesbíráme).

    Část "Můžeme shromažďovat..." je standardní přehled možných typů dat, které musí být v politice uvedeny podle požadavků platformy (Mozilla Addons), aby pokryly všechny potenciální scénáře.

    Skutečný stav, který platí pro naše rozšíření, je však jasně definován takto:

    We do not collect: Personal information (name, email, passwords, IP addresses, location data), except when you voluntarily provide such data when contacting us.

    To znamená, že ačkoliv politika obecně zmiňuje možnost sběru dat, vaše jméno, e-mail, hesla ani IP adresu NESHROMAŽĎUJEME, pokud nám tyto údaje sami dobrovolně nepošlete, když nás kontaktujete.

    Vaše soukromí je pro nás klíčové, a proto je v naší politice výslovně uvedeno, jaké citlivé informace neshromažďujeme.

    Collects sensitive data! From their own statement after installing: "«Auto Refresh Page» collects data from your browser in order to provide and improve our products and services, software update, dynamic content operation, support for extensions, and get an idea of how our services are used based on your consent."

    Literally refused to work when I needed it to, not only that but it made the whole browser not function at all. I literally was about to go on my neocities page to work on it and it kept reloading every page, and all I could think was "what the fuck?"

    what a shame. I refuse to use this extension after seeing how many permissions it 'needs'.
    Beware that if you install this, the developer will be able to:
    - Access your data for all websites
    - Access browser tabs

    The addon works, and seems simple and easy to use.
    However, the required permissions are WAY to broad, and it's just adware to say the least.
    Its source code is packed/obfuscated.
    Avoid at all costs.

    ATTENTION DANGER

    Une extension pour recharger la page courante qui vous demande de plus l'autorisation d'afficher des notifications, d'accéder à VOS DONNEES pour tous les sites web, et effacer l'historique récent, est en réalité un SPYWARE et un SPAMWARE. Son but réel est d'afficher des pubs normalement bloquées par le navigateur (sites porno, arnaques, ...) et voler vos données pour les revendre... Tout en effaçant ses traces...

    Ich wollte eine Benachrichtigung bei jeder Änderung. Was ich bekomme, ist bei jedem neuen Ladevorgang die Benachrichtigung, es habe sich etwas geändert (auch wenn sich in Wirklichkeit nichts geändert hat). Außerdem stoppt die App nach jedem "Treffer" (auch wenn es gar keiner ist). Sie sollte aber in jedem Fall weiterlaufen. So, wie sie jetzt ist, ist sie zu nichts zu gebrauchen.
