I'm not sure what you exactly mean by "a lot of other Firefox Icons stop working" but it sounds like something I should look into. Please open an issue at https://github.com/kkapsner/CanvasBlocker/issues with your specific problem and your settings.

The blocking of sites is often something that can be addressed by settings. You can also open an issue for that and I can look what your sites need to work properly.
