    First reason: it isn’t possible in Firefox since version 57.
    Second reason: this is how i prefer it and it will never change, even if it was to be supported.

    The addon does exactly what’s stated in the decription. It’s extremely unfair to say this addon is lousy, just because it isn’t another addon.

    You have to add the search engines manually. Please refer to the FAQ: https://github.com/NumeriusNegidius/Context-Search/wiki.

    I added a "Searches" folder to bookmarks. Then highlighted a word. The extension's "Search for" line shows up in the context menu. BUT none of the search engines are displayed.

    It should work on Windows. Most of the users are on Windows. Please submit an issue on the support site!

    Have to create a bookmark folder first, and then restart FF, really? Better use the web-extension called "contextual-search".

    We use different approaches to the same problem.

    The restart requirement is worked on (there's an open issue on GitHub), but since most people rarely add new search engines to the list it has been a low priority.

    EDIT: The restart requirement is now removed in version 0.9.5, available as we speak! :)
