- Valutata 1 su 5di GoldenDove1122, un mese faLiterally blocks playback on videos when enabled, telling you that you have to subscribe to a patron for "premium" features, otherwise you have to disable it.
I did one better: I'd straight up just removed this waste of storage space of an extension and am now giving it a 1-star review, zero stars if I could. Yes, I'm aware that extensions like this cost money to run and maintain, but putting up a "free" extension only to block it behind a paywall only drives people away towards competitors. Unbelievable.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 5905964, un mese faDoes not fetch actual data from YouTube, just makes a guess. Less than worthless.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18750367, 2 mesi faSeems like they're adding bot dislikes in the results now.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Lucy Mills, 2 mesi faannoying - it opens a popup after installation without the user clicking on anything and without the user requesting to view any page.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18900251, 4 mesi faThe Dev tried to push a little e-beg window into his app which caused a lot of negative reviews. The Dev lost their mind and started replying and arguing with EVERYONE in the comments who was upset with the change and left a comment about his extension.
The Dev messed up big time in how he implemented this ad and how he is responding to the negative feedback. I removed the extension because the Dev appears to be really unstable and not untrustworthy. He even responded to this comment below blaming everyone else but himself. If he has this much of an ego I would be afraid of what he might do and don't want him to have access to anything on my machine.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 4 mesi faI was arguing with people who can't read - like geniuses who decided that the extension is paid now. (i.e. missed the point that all the features that existed before - are still free, and only the new, advanced features are paid, and used to cover the cost of running a free service for 20 million users. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18909402, 5 mesi fa

- Valutata 1 su 5di Cameron Owens, 5 mesi faI know everyone's gotta eat and nothing is truly free, but the way the large advertisement is implemented is obnoxious at best. I'll be uninstalling for the time being.

pubblicato il 5 mesi faGoing to be less obnoxious on Firefox, thanks to chrome for beta testing. - Valutata 1 su 5di Nicky McCurdy, 5 mesi faThis extension is trying to monetize showing one bit of useful information on the page with intrusive ads and a premium tier.

pubblicato il 5 mesi faMonetization is needed, among other things, to pay for operating the extension.
Only advanced new features are paid - what you had for free is still free, and will always be free
All other extensions\apps with dislikes are using my API - with the api dying due to lack of funds - all other apps will die as well.
Unfortunately the extension requires quite a large database (~15TB) serivng 20 million unique daily users (chrome is not the only platform) - and it costs money.
The idea behind paid features was also to cover the costs (since donations became smaller than the hosting costs). Without bothering free users too much.- The iffy "Premium" ad this has on the Chrome version is incredibly off-putting. If that's the direction this add-on goes in aka locking key features behind a paywall - I'll remove this. I do get that an add-on like this can be pricey to maintain but this could have been handled better imo.
- Valutata 1 su 5di PhobosAnomaly, 5 mesi faYou're not getting my money for something that hardly works anymore, get off my computer
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 17670395, 5 mesi faI no longer trust the developer after an intrusive advertisement was added. I am going to find another way to view dislikes or none at all.

pubblicato il 5 mesi faYeah, sorry about that. The changelog tab was supposed to be shown on browser restart - i.e be much less intrusive. Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 5 mesi faChrome users just beta tested it for Firefox. Hopefully will go smoother here.
