- Valutata 1 su 5di James cliford, 10 ore faI was defrauded of $200,000 after guaranteed investment profits. They blocked my withdrawal and demanded an investigation fee. Despite paying, they continued to demand more. I reported the incident to [Coinresecure﹫ℊmaℹl .¢OM]. who successfully recoup my stolen funds.

- Valutata 1 su 5di Worldwaker, 3 mesi faThis addon has recently been "sponsored" by a company called Lesno.ai and pushed advertisements directly into every single use of the addon, by default.
This is no longer anything but a thinly veiled data and image harvesting tool by Lesno.ai and frankly should not be used by anyone.
Using this addon now directly sends all search data to Lesno.ai, be warned.
You can verify my claim by simply visiting the github in the extension description and reading the changelog: 8.1.0 (2025-01-07)Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 3 mesi faOpen source projects can be sponsored, and it's perfectly fine to list sponsors at the bottom of the settings page. I'm not sure what kind of advertisements and data harvesting tool are you seeing, but anyone can indeed verify that you're making stuff up by going to GitHub.
This is the commit that lists the logo of sponsors on the options page of the extension:
https://github.com/dessant/search-by-image/commit/b8de70371695f8f1fa8069d2edbfaa4c7b705dc8
It's a local image, with a link to the website of a sponsor.
Please don't spread false information about my projects, I have never collected any kind of personal data. I have reported your review to Mozilla. - Valutata 1 su 5di frankshrum, 4 mesi fa
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18899637, 4 mesi faComplete waste of time and space all it seems to be doing is annoyingly pop-up saying "scripts cant be opened from this website" WTF its supposed to be a simple search by image engine but it doesn't even provide to search anything just gives its repeating sentence at best "Failed to open scripts for this website" AT LEAST ITS HONEST IN BEING A FAILURE

- When I compare it to how Google Lens work on Chrome, this extension isn't really great. You can't select the area you want to include in the image search (well, sometimes you can, but most of the times it selects whole screen or a random element and then gets stuck at loading). Also the search doesn't happen in the same window but rather opens in a new one, so not very convenient for my use

- Valutata 1 su 5di Beauleau, 10 mesi faTHIS IS GARBAGE, EVERY PICTURE I SEARCH IF FINDS PICTURES OF EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE IMAGE I SEARCH. A BETTER DESCRIPTION WOULD BE, THIS APP WILL FIND EVERYTHING ELSE ON EARTH BUT THE IMAGE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. WHAT A JOKE!
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18612655, 10 mesi faNot sure why people are leaving 5 star reviews... this literally just opens the websites where you have to manually upload an image. I already have these websites bookmarked so this is therefore completely useless to me.

github.com/dessant/search-by-image/issues - Valutata 1 su 5di dunno, un anno fa"content scripts are not allowed on this page" MEANING WHAT? Useless UI.

- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 1437455, un anno faIt didn't work for me. It simply did nothing when I pressed any number of buttons. Eventually I came across a screen that said scripts were not allowed on the page. 🤷♂️
