di Utente Firefox 18422486, un anno faI love this and can't live without it. There's some issues I'd love to see taken care of, if even possible.
Sometimes I need to click on a blank space on a page to make tridactyl perform an action, like scrolling with J/K, or typing a command with ":" .
Second issue I have is where I activate hint mode with F, and there are way too many hint labels on a specific element, many of which don't do anything, and only one that actually does something. Maybe it could be implementet that hint labels that don't do anything when typed are hidden from hint mode, and that hints that do the same thing (like click the same button) are merged into each other.
3rd issue is that on using t to tabopen, it searches not just the urls from my bookmarks and history, it also searches in the tab "titles", which is for example "Tridactyl – Get this Extension for 🦊 Firefox (en-US)" for this mozilla page. I'd like to just search in urls from my bookmarks and history, not those titles too.
Also when using t to tabopen, I'd like it to open the page at the top when pressing enter, instead of searching what I just typed in. Because now I have to press the Tab key everytime I want to open the top url. I don't want to search the part after :tabopen, because I would have just used the s/S key to search.
Tridactyl breaks microsoft teams by the way, so I had to do :blacklistadd teams.microsoft.com.
I also look forward to tridactyl working on addons.mozilla.org and other sites.

I've found that it doesn't completely replace mouse navigation for me; several sites I use have nonconventional clickable elements (not buttons/hrefs) and so the `f` finder doesn't highlight them, and `;;` highlights so many things it's hard to find the right one.
I'm still solidly on the learning curve, but it's already made certain actions way quicker for me, and I love the command line- with some quick theming it's probably the coolest thing about my Firefox now!
The native plugin works seamlessly too- and the ability to edit text in my preferred editor (Shoutout to Helix!) has been great as well.
Solid work, highly recommended to give it a shot if you like modal editors. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 17112212, 19 giorni fafantastique. tridactyl is the most thought out and perfected exploration of what is imo an important branch of browsers as technology.

- Valutata 5 su 5di TypicalUser128, un mese faIt works on more sites than Vimium. It's faster than Vimium. Tridactyl is simply better than Vimium. Only Qutebrowser is more effective than this. Wow.

- Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 18524146, 2 mesi faI have tried Vimium, Vimium C, Surfing Keys, and a few others; however, Tridactyl is the best. It is comparable in terms of raw power and capability to Qutebrowser, which is remarkable. I have yet to find a use case where a Qutebrowser solution did not also work in Tridactyl. My favorite features include the `:command` mode to execute complex commands (including chaining them), the ability to use custom JavaScript, the tridactylrc file (makes it easy to sync dotfiles), the ability to control other add-ons, and the ability to control Firefox itself (i.e., clear history, local storage, etc: by time or whatever). It is without a doubt the most feature-rich Vim-like browser add-on; as a result, it also loads the slowest. It also currently has issues with Google Docs/Sheets/Drive, so you may need to use an alternative (like Vimium) for those sites. Lastly, this add-on also requires the most learning and configuration to use efficiently, as it is the most complex. In conclusion, if you are a power user who strives to abandon the mouse entirely with full control over the browser, then Tridactyl is the add-on for you. But if you just want something simple, then Vimium or Surfing Keys are always an option too.
