Seems to be only addon that actually works for this purpose, except it stopped working 6/16/2020. Choosing "Old layout" either through its own button or its dedicated settings panel inside the addon manager only breaks the YouTube page. Tried clearing cache, restarting Firefox, temporarily disabling all other addons - still nothing. running Windows 7 64-bit, Firefox 56.0.2 64-bit.

YouTube removed the method this add-on was using to set the old layout. I found a workaround tho. I uploaded a new version. It should work now. :)

This extension worked well but now it doesn`t work. Could you fix it?

It works with a small issue. The settings can just be made in the addons section because when I leftklick the icon the options do not contain any text. FF60.4 portable, 64-bit

Version 2.2.0 does not work. Version 2.0.7 work. I only use the old layout.

What exactly isn't working? What did you do, what do you expect to happen and what actually happens?
Did you try the new "Fix it" button?

Very good but, after clearing history add on must be selected again to the desired layout to preserve. After selection then it works.
