Possible temp fix for plugins like this where the live chat on the ride side using theater mode especially interferes with these kind of plugins. This will restore old live chat functionality and make these kind of plugins work again until you can get around to fixing it yourself somehow. Maybe this can help somebody. It's on Greasyfork called "YouTube Classic Live Chat Position" by Amadeus-AI

Only wish you could somehow get your overlay to still be working when going into full screen with this plugin specifically, so that's why I put 4 stars unless I'm doing something wrongs I'll adjust rating apologies!! Eh I give it a 5 anyways goes it's doing what it's intended to do... Just wish the overlay would work no matter if in full screen. Edit: Awesome thanks NaPaliGhost appreciate your work on this plugin again! I also forgot I realized f11 would also be a work around. Thanks for mentioning that! :)

Does what it says it does, and it does it well.

Works exactly as expected straight out of the box ! A lovely little set of adjustable features too. Doesn't seem to conflict with any other extensions that change youtube either (e.g. Enhancer for Youtube).

Does everything you want to fix YouTube's absolute mess of a live interface. Allowing you to properly enter fullscreen/theatre mode and still see the chat.

Decided to download again to see if issues on youtube still were there, and I'm glad to say it's working well now! :) I like this extension a lot, thanks!

Doesn't work on vods that have been hidden. Other than that works great.

It would be even better if we had an option to make the YouTube header show/hide on mouse hover. Instead of just 2 options hide or show atm.

Works perfectly again for me. Maybe it was just something on my end.

I'm a longtime user of the Chrome version and just moved to Firefox. YouTube's stock layouts for streams with chat are terrible enough to make this extension one of the essentials. I've never had problems with it, and the dev is quick with any necessary fixes (due to YouTube changing things).

In case it might save someone some trouble with initial setup, make sure you right-click the extension and enable Always Allow on www.youtube.com. I spent a good few minutes trying to figure out why it wasn't working before seeing that step mentioned elsewhere.

Works great. Also the developer fixes problems quickly(because of YouTube changes)

The features introduced by this extension are so simple and obvious that I can't stomach using YouTube's default half-baked theater mode anymore.

The dev is also very quick to push updates when the Google engineers get bored and decide to start tinkering with YouTube's backend.
