- This extension has been driving me nuts lately. Continually having to turn off adds and then refresh the page even for pages where I have told it not to block ads. Finally found this. "Websites or pages you have not visited in the last 7 days are automatically removed from your allowlist" Why?????? And no seeming way to turn off this setting. Makes this otherwise useful add on frustrating and almost unusable.

Der Adblocker kotzt mich an, weil ich diesen nicht deaktiviert bekomme, um ein Login auf der GMX-Seite für meine 86 jährige Mutter einrichten zu können. Ständig funkt der Adblocker dazwischen, obwohl ich die GMX-Seite freigegeben habe. Habrt ihr nicht´s anderes zu tun als meine Zeit zu stellen?

投稿日時: 2ヶ月前If you are still being asked to disable Adblock Plus even with ABP already off/page allowlisted, most likely something else is causing the issue. There is no obligation to upgrade and you can dismiss the page by clicking the "x" on the browser tab. The payment page should only appear once every two weeks. You are probably referring to our Acceptable Ads program.
In this program, websites are permited to show certain ads on the page. However, those ads have to be produced according to a series of criterias (ie. not animated, non-intrusive, cannot block content, etc). Websites have to apply join the program and are judged by a committee. This ensures that all pages follow the criteria established.
User can chose to opt-out from seeing Acceptable Ads at any time in their ABP settings.開発者の返信

If it stopped doing that, I'd rate 5/5.
EDIT: Reduced to 1 star - still getting a popup seemingly at random for the update and asking for money. Make it a pop-under or somehow don't make it open the tab OVER what I am actively working on. HIGHLY recommend switching to another blocker.開発者の返信

I think if you satisfied their greed and signed up for a monthly subscription, it would work. Without a subscription, it's useless.

I've uninstalled this addon and reinstalled (like instructed) and sites I once WhiteList will reset after a few days. Come on! Let me guess, someone is paying you guys off? What garbage. I don't think so!), I've given it the heave-ho and replaced it with UBlock Origin. That's a vastly superior Adblocker.

However, in some cases we've found that your settings might have changed which is why ads are suddenly appearing.
