This just does what Dark Reader app does, inverts colors on screen for Google docs. So your dark sheets will look white while the UI is black.

Apart from the inverted emoji colors that others have mentioned, the side panels, like data validation and alternating colors, are also ALL BLACK with NO TEXT. Cannot use at all.

Does a decent job. Also inverts image colors in docs and for some reason makes the conditional formatting panel in sheets completely invisible, but still better than light mode imo.

Installed this per reviews on Docs After Dark. This one's so dark I can't see the typing cursor lol. If y'all could fix that, it would be perfect.

Just inverts the entire webpage rather than changing the color scheme to be darker/in dark mode, makes it impossible to see certain things I've added because of this.

As a migraine sufferer, I appreciate this add-on. However, it seems to have a strange effect on an image embedded in my Google Doc. The image appears as a photo negative of itself.

Does not work for images in google sheets.

Randomly reversed the colors of all my images.

I like this, but in the Google Slides _homepage_ (not when editing a presentation) it inverts only the icon brightness. Otherwise, it works perfectly.

Works well for my purposes, however I wish there was a setting to keep images and comment profile pictures unchanged.

Tried four other extensions similar to this.
Why this is the best?
This dark mode doesn't have patches here and there.
and Importantly the emoji's are not some negative inverse colored.

Does exactly what it says. I can't believe there aren't more downloads of this. Maybe people think it's impossible because googel is such a monolithic information vampire?
