Good addon but it opens new Jabref windows for each new citation when click on addon icon on Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon. In Jabref "Listen to remote operation on port" is also enabled/checked.

Thanks for your review! You can configure JabRef so that new entries are always imported in an already opened instance of JabRef. For this, activate "Listen to remote operation on port" under the "Network" tab of the JabRef Preferences.

Was going to review that extension 1 star because it had worked only once on an arXiv page. However, I was missing the .json and noticed it on posting the rating. Sorry for being such a bad user.
Isn't there a way to warn that the extension isn't completely installed? How comes that it has worked once?

I'm putting 4 stars for now, but if everything keeps running smoothly, definitely going to increase this despite the weird story ;-) . I see that there are other reviews that are most likely in the same conditions.

Thanks for your suggestion. I've created an issue https://github.com/JabRef/JabRef-Browser-Extension/issues/170 to keep track of it. In case you experience any problems, feel free to open an issue there as well and I'll try to fix it quickly.
