Anyone can sign up for our Free plan, and we don't ask for any payment details during signup. 投稿日時: 4ヶ月前The default auto-connect option will connect you to the fastest available server for you. This leads to better load balancing and higher speed, which is a priority for free users. It has been happening for months.

For the time being, as a workaround, you can log out of the browser extension, restart your browser, and when logging back in, select 'Keep me signed in'. I read through other reviews and stumbled across EnbyTea's review. This is exactly what my frustration is:
> free version is useless since you can't select countries in it anymore. If you're going to pay money for a VPN do it elsewhere.
The developer's response is also useless:

If you are providing free version, do it right. This does not make any sense to just randomly connect to some random freaking server. You either make a really good free version or none at all. Everything in between will ALWAYS result in extremely terrible user experience. This is why, I will never be upgrading. I will just go ahead and find other extension for a better free experience.開発者の返信

投稿日時: 7ヶ月前Bonjour, pouvez-vous confirmer que vous utilisez l'add-on pour Firefox (car celle-ci ne contient pas de texte "En attente d'un serveur disponible"). Pourrait-il s'agir d'un problème avec la version desktop ?
Dans tous les cas, je vous encourage à vous rendre sur protonvpn.com/support-form pour que le service client puisse analyser le problème et comprendre pourquoi la connexion ne fonctionne pas sur votre appareil.
