I have only one question: Why can you not make whatever changes would be necessary to allow highlights TO BE PERMANENT--so when one closes the page and revisits it later, ones highlights reappear intact?? My question is all the more urgent given that other text-highlighting extensions (NOT that they are good overall) are able to do so.

very helpful to be able to save highlights for future reference and developer is engaged. -1 for some minor glitches in the UX.

It looks great and it works great, but it lacks two features. Once you've highlighted some text you cannot un-highlight said text. The only way to do that is to remove all highlights and manually highlight everything else again, which is rather tedious. The other feature is a save feature. I want to keep highlights for future reference. Of course not everyone needs this, so it would be nice if this feature could be turned on or off. But it would be a great feature to have.

Mě se líbí na tomto doplnku že má 7 barev a můžete s tou barvou, kterou si vyberete označit jakýkoliv text.
Nelíbí se mi to, že to má moc bledé barvy, potřebuju trochu nasycenější

Works great, but from Firefox version 60.0, the F9 key is hard-coded to toggle the Reader-view - please assign a different key to the TextMarker.

If you could allow to write notes and persist on page reloads that would be awesome. You could use localStorage to persist.

I think it´s a pity that users are not informed that there is a simple way to save the highlights for future re-reading. It took me some scrolling through the reviews to find this hint in one of the comments. I suggest the following to be added in "About this extension" or elsewhere. "In case you like to keep the highlights, just right-click and select "Save the page ..." and then you will keep the marked text forever"

i like the addon especially the marker on the right.

but i found the default highlight color is same as the highlight colors of other addon. This confused me sometimes.

it would be great if we could choose the default highlight colors.
or have three items in the context menu to hightlight the word with different color.
